Gottsch Legacy

Born in Kennard, Nebraska, Robert (Bob) Gottsch founded Gottsch Cattle Company in 1956. A veteran of World War II and a tireless workhorse, Gottsch set high expectations for himself and expected the same of the people around him. This dedication was passed on to his sons and is the backbone of Gottsch Livestock Feeders.

Proven people and methods of grass and forage backgrounding establish calf health and conditioning, with minimal stress.

We pour our trademark dedication, integrity, and work ethic into producing the foundation of the Gottsch operation. It takes high-quality crops to produce industry-leading livestock. We truly reap what we sow.

Feed Yards

State-of-the-art technologies, quality equipment and clean facilities, along with some of the industry’s most experienced people enable Gottsch to create all the right conditions for the best possible product.

Commodity Trading

A full-service trading company, specializing in ag, Gottsch participates in market activities as it makes sense to the company’s operations.

“Trading in futures and options carries substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Customers should carefully consider their financial condition and only genuine risk capital should be used in such trading.”
